Maja Dimnik is one of the cofounders at GLAMPro – the team who is creating glamping sites worldwide. Maja had an important role at preopening of one of the best glamping sites in Slovenia including Garden Village Bled, which is recognized as one of top 5 glamping hotels in the world. She is also a marketing advisor at company Adria Dom d.o.o., which owns luxury camping and glamping brand Adria Holidays. Welcoming new challenges, she is launching her own brand in September.

Q: What do you love about your job the most?
Challenges, diversity, freedom, being a part of successful and unique projects. After all the hard work I feel satisfied seeing the project recognized and successful worldwide, knowing that I was also part of the story.

Q: Where do you see the biggest opportunity in marketing and MICE industry?
Modern ways of instant communication, networking, sharing experiences, ideas, social connecting, no matter the location or language.

Q: How do you deal with marketing jungle on daily basis?
I don’t even have time to think about this jungle. I’m a person who doesn’t like long strategies, I have my own tactic and follow my instincts. I try to bring personal touch in my projects, learn from each one of them and use the best tactics in new projects.

Q: How did the best events you attended so far make you feel?
The best ones gave me the inspiration and new ideas.

PERSONAL – BACKGROUND

Q: Looking at your bucket list, what is the one thing that you really wish to cross off until the end of 2017?
That is really easy to answer.  I wish that my new brand would bring value in glamping tourism and become recognized worldwide, like I succeeded with Garden Village Bled, Charming Slovenia, GLAMPro etc.

Q: If you could have dinner with anyone (alive or dead), who would you have dinner with and why?
Tina Turner, the queen of rock music. She had to struggle with hard life experiences, her life was not easy, but she became strong, successful and modest. She had so many reasons to quit but instead she is a legend. I admire her strength and energy.

Q: What would you share with our participants if you would have only one minute?
Hard one. Luckily, I don’t have a minute. I would say that anything is possible with a strong wish and hard work which is worth it in the end. My advice to everyone would be: think outside the box inside the box.’

Q: What are you bringing to Conventa Crossover?
Fairy tail designed project, located in the real world, that was recognized as one of the five best glamping hotels in the world. I would like to present that almost everything is possible if you follow your dreams and have the courage to make them come true.
