The Crossover conference is bringing a creative and fresh approach, rich interaction and different programme formats: exciting keynotes, practical workshops, presentations in PechaKucha format, discussions, anarchy sessions and other surprises. All of it will be spiced up with a hefty dose of fun, exquisite cuisine and some good old rock-n-roll.
The show will start on Thursday, August 30, 2018 in Ljubljana’s Puppet Theatre. Warmed up by Jan-Jaap In der Maur‘s energy, the guests will get to choose between two exciting workshops; Gerrit Jessen‘s workshop on Event Design using the Event Canvas method or Barbara Krajnc‘s workshop, where participants will play with Lego’s. The workshops will be followed by Special Venue presentations in Pecha Kucha format.
Taking the centre stage will be Patrick Roubroeks from XSAGA event agency and Michael Cowan, the man behind Mont Beer. Later on, participants will be actively involved in Anarchy Sessions, where they will be split into groups, each group will choose an interesting topic and the topic which gets the most votes will be discussed. Crossover will host its very own roundtable, where Vartan Surmejan (Event Cook), Ivona Dabetić Jovović (Vision Event) and Boris Kovaček (Pepermint) will discuss event marketing in the region of South East Europe.
After a creative lunch break, lovers of the most creative and out-of-the-box events will get their fix, as award auditions for the Conventa Best Event Award will start. The finalists will get a chance to present their awesome events to the participants, who will have the final vote in selecting a winner. The winner will be announced the next day, on Friday, 31 August 2018.
Conventa Crossover was made for meeting planners by meeting planners. It invites all creative thinkers, marketing experts, agencies, associations, tourist destinations, hotels and event venues, who are closely tied into the fields of tourism and marketing.
